Hello everyone and especially new people looking on this site!
The Tuesday night group is by far the leader in attendance. Next Tuesday, June 13th, the ride will start from DMR Electronics, a buisness located in the industrial park in Hibbing. Hugh Vidovic, a club member, has invited the Tuesday night group to bring their favorite dishes to DMR and start the ride from DMR. Ride time will be the same- 6pm.
Hope to see you there!

Hi Cycle Mesabi members and visitor's to this site,
This last week has not been an ideal week for riding. I heard that some of the group did meet on Tuesday night. Thursday night Robert, Terry G., Ed, Dar and Dave B., John and I endured the wind and cool weather and rode Hwy 92 to 5 and back to Hibbing on 37. We stopped briefly at the intersection of 5 and 37 so Ed could get a snack out of his bike pack. We wanted to keep moving so we could stay warm. We can look forward to sunny skies and warmer weather in the future!
Have a great weekend and see you on Tuesday. Next Thursday, May 18th, is a transport ride.
Hi Cycle Mesabi Club members!
The 2006 Ironman Bike Ride was a wet one. I have volunteered as a road medic the last few years and this is the first year driving the van instead of riding bike.
Saw Gordy Rue and his son Dennis at the first rest stop. Both off them were cold and wet. They kept going after a short rest and getting something to eat. Gordy rode the 62 miler this year instead of the 100 miler..... He is a wise man.
Also heard that Ed Beckers was at the ride. Please ask Ed how his ride went.
See everyone on Tuesday night.
